1. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files stored by a browser. Websites can also use local storage, pixels, scripts and similar technology to remember information, provide functionality, understand usage or measure advertising.
Phoenix Pixel Studios keeps optional analytics and marketing technology off by default. It is enabled only after the visitor chooses the relevant category through the consent manager. Embedded portfolio media is part of the core page experience and uses privacy-enhanced or do-not-track embed modes where the provider supports them.
2. The categories we use
Necessary
Technology required for security, form protection, core site operation and remembering your privacy choice. This category cannot be switched off through our consent manager because it supports services you request or the safe operation of the website.
Analytics
Google Analytics 4 may be used to understand how visitors use the website, which pages perform well and where journeys can be improved. GA4 is not loaded by Phoenix Site Engine unless Analytics consent has been granted.
Marketing
Meta Pixel and similar advertising measurement technology may be used to understand whether campaigns lead to useful actions and to support advertising measurement. Phoenix Site Engine does not load Meta Pixel unless Marketing consent has been granted.
3. Technology we may use
| Technology / provider | Category | Purpose | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|---|
pse_consent_preferences (first-party browser storage) | Necessary | Remembers the consent categories you selected across browser sessions so the banner does not keep asking after you have made a choice. | Retained until you change the preference, clear site data, or Phoenix changes the consent version because the tracking purposes/providers materially change. A first-party cookie fallback may be refreshed on later visits. |
| Cloudflare Turnstile / security storage | Necessary | Helps protect forms from automated abuse and verify legitimate submissions. | Provider/session dependent and limited to the security purpose. |
_ga and related Google Analytics identifiers | Analytics | Distinguishes browser activity and supports aggregated website measurement when GA4 is configured and accepted. | Controlled by the configured Google Analytics retention/cookie settings and may vary. |
_fbp, _fbc and related Meta identifiers | Marketing | Supports campaign measurement and attribution when Meta Pixel is configured and accepted. | Controlled by Meta and browser/provider settings and may vary. |
The exact names used by Google, Meta, Cloudflare or other providers can change over time. We review this policy when our technology stack materially changes.
Embedded media
Some pages contain YouTube or Vimeo content as part of the website's portfolio and creative presentation. Phoenix uses YouTube privacy-enhanced mode and Vimeo's do-not-track player mode where supported. These players can make a network request to the provider when the page loads, and the provider may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser/device information and the page requesting the media. Interacting with a player can also cause the provider to use its own storage or process additional usage information under its privacy terms. Phoenix does not use the embedded player connection as permission to enable GA4 or Meta Pixel; those remain separately consent-controlled.
4. Managing your choices
On your first visit, Phoenix offers three clear routes: accept optional technology, reject optional technology, or manage Analytics and Marketing separately. You can change your mind at any time using the button below.
Withdrawing optional consent stops Phoenix Site Engine from loading the relevant tracker on future page loads and attempts to remove known first-party analytics/marketing identifiers. You can also clear or block cookies and site storage through your browser settings.
5. Third-party services
When enabled by your choice, Google Analytics and Meta may process information under their own terms and privacy policies. Cloudflare may process limited technical information for website and form security. YouTube and Vimeo may receive technical connection information when an embedded portfolio player loads, using privacy-enhanced or do-not-track player modes where supported. We do not control third-party retention once information has been transmitted to that provider.
For information about the personal data Phoenix Pixel Studios processes more generally, see our Privacy Policy.
Changes to this policy
If we introduce a materially different tracking purpose or provider, we will update this policy and, where appropriate, increase the consent version so visitors are asked to choose again.
